My dominant positive emotion is curiosity. The one that apparently shows up for me on a daily basis more than any other. When I am curious, I am alive and open to an existence filled with buried treasure.
And the curiosity that catches me in one piece of mundane leads me to explore things more than I ever do. It could be as small of a detail, as an idea that occurs to me or just the question randomly pops into my head. There is a lot more to life than just wondering what questions are out there, but wanting to know the answer; it’s about being curious and getting lost in your exploration.
The beautiful part about curiosity is the fact that it never really stops. As soon as I uncover one answer, ten more questions come, and that keeps life interesting enough to not be boring or meaningless. Instead of boredom, I have a feeling that there is always something more to be learned or experienced in the world.
As a result, curiosity is less of an instance and more of a consistent friend. It is a desirable-feeling that motivates me to see the world differently and drives me to evolve.
