Hi. my name is Joshua Craig. I’m a veteran. I served in the Air Force.
In 2024 I moved to Houston from Atlanta. My brother lives in Houston and now he’s married with kids. I moved to Houston to get to know my brother better and get to know his kids and wife.
A couple weeks after I moved I had a stroke that left my left arm messed up and I can no longer walk. At all.
After I was in the hospital I was moved to a nursing home. That’s where I live now.
The nursing home gave me a manual wheelchair. My buddy also got me a wheelchair. Somebody took my wheelchair but I got it back. Then somebody took my personal wheelchair again. And the second time the nursing home could’nt find it.
I want a powered wheelchair because a manual wheelchair sucks. Why does it suck? It takes two hands to operate but my left hand is messed up from my stroke so I just use one hand. Manual wheelchairs make me tired because I only use one hand.
I have medicaid does that help? I went to the VA hospital for an appointment and my doctor couldn’t believe I didn’t have a powered wheelchair.
I just want a power wheelchair. Maybe, then I would be more adventurous and go out more.
I don’t have any money. I just want help getting a powered wheelchair. I asked the nursing home for a powered wheelchair. They just keep giving me excuses.
Who’s ass do I have to kiss?
Thanks for reading, Joshua
UPDATE: I changed the amount and picture. I don’t need a fancy one. I found one on Amazon that will work just fine for $900. The problem is I don’t have $900. I am so desperte. Please help me.
This is how desperate I am, the VA gives me $175 per month. That’s the only money I have every month. I will give someone $75 per month until I payback the cost of this electric wheelchair if someone buy’s it for me. Or you can donate. That’s awesome too! Or share this because that’s helpful too.
